I have been to the Galaxy Drive-In nearly every weekend since it opened and I look forward to every Saturday night like I did in the 50's and 60' when I went to the drive-ins with my parents. I worked at a movie theatre and drive in in Osceola, Ar. when I was in high school in the 70's. I hope the Galaxy has many years of showing us the movies the way they were intended to be seen on a huge screen. Good Luck to you and see you at the Movies.

We used to drive over an hour and a half one way to Granbury, but now we have a wonderful Drive In right in our backyard. The Galaxy has fantastic sound. Our family saw Polar Express and we thought it was so cool that the car actually shook everytime the train rolled by on screen. The only problem is that the snack bar is too crowded but the prices are great. We wish the Galaxy the best of luck and will continue to watch movies there.

We to a trip to the Galaxy this past Friday night and had a blast! I say trip as it is 50 miles one way for us. But the teenager in our family so enjoyed the experience, this may become a regular thing for us. The snack bar was a little too crowded, but I figured out why when I saw the great prices. All around fun for us all. Thanks.

We went to the Galaxy Drive-In for opening night and waited in line outside just to get it. It was well worth it, our 2 daughters loved it. Thought it was so neat because we could discuss the movie as you watched it and didn't have to be so quite. The snack bar was great. We have been back since as well. It will be an outing for every month if not more than that. We all love it. Thanks for bringing the old memories back and we are able to share with our children.

Greetings! Just wanted to thank you wonderful people for opening and operating a first rate drive-in for us Texas drive-in nuts. We froze our buns off (Jan. 22), but watched two great movies and enjoyed terrific food at the snack bar. I want to be a "Galaxy Girl" too! When do we get to buy a Galaxy Drive-In t-shirts? The Wolf Man Jack entertainment was supreme and the ol' timey commericals really brought back memories. Thanks guys for our Saturday Night drive-in fix, we will be back again and again!

I would like to compliment the owners of this fine establishment...Tonight was my first(but certainly not my LAST)visit and I took my 8 yr old daughter and showed her how the old man used to watch movies back in the day...The features were great but what really gave me the most joy was the Wolf Man Jack Show they did before the movies started....To hear all the great oldies took me back to simpler times...You can bet I'll do my part in supporting this great drive-in....Lots of wishes for success for many generations to come!!

Well I just got back from the Galaxy Drive Inn near Ennis TX. (01-22-04) It was wonderful. The facilities were both clean and efficient. The lighting in the area is dark. It is an outstanding place to see a film. Than you for so much fun. The food was great, served fast and hot. I ate too much and will pay for it tomorrow. I will return but I am not going to sit outside if it’s that cold. Thanks once again.

My husband and I went to the Galaxy last week-end and had the most fun since the Astro burned here in Dallas. It is now our first place to look for a night out. Our first date (over 35 years ago) was at a drive-in in east Texas so they have a special place in our hearts. The sound qualty and picture were outstanding. The window speakers are great. The concessions stand had everything you need. The people with the drive-in are so friendly and helpful. Although it was bitter cold and muddy the place was full. So get there early for you choice of parking place. The cup runneth over. LOL The only suggestion I could possible make is that maybe they hand out drive-in etiquette sheet or make annoucements before the show starts for the novice to the drive-in, for example, when leaving or coming in while any of the screens are showing a movie you use your parking lights so not the shine lights on the screen at a pivotal point of the movie or blind the people in the cars still trying to watch the movie. Thank you so much for this new drive-in! A Drive-in patron for 4 decades and working on 5th,

We found out about the Galaxy, and knew we had to go. It had rained, so yes it was a bit muddy, but it brought back some great memories. When's the last time you went to a double feature...that wasn't in your livingroom. The price is great, and the concession stand had a lot to offer. The sound was outstanding, and the picture quality was crystal clear. This is a great family night out, and they better make it bigger, because if they play it... we ALL will come

What a beautiful sight--the titles of current movies on the marquee of a new drive-in theater--and best of all, it's right here in Texas!

I attended last night Thurs, 1/20. Let me tell you..... it was Great. The sound is terrific. I have had problems at other drive-ins as the sound appeared to be muffled, but at the Galaxy, the surround sound/stereo is crystal clear! The picture is also very clear. I will definitely continue going as the price is right and the concession stand has very reasonable prices. Thanks for bringing nostalgia back to us Martin and Marcia

Jeff Kirby from the rock band Scepter here (originally from Wichita KS). I missed the drive in so bad (Starlite in Wichita) that my band and I would sometimes drive all the way from Dallas, TX back home to KS just for the experience. We then found Brazo's in Granbury, but you've got to get a room which can be an expensive night and a long drive. The Galaxy is like a gift from God to us. We are so stoked about it! I've seen every movie about twice now since opening and was there and introduced myself on opening night! It's an awesome place and now being open seven nights a week, even performers like us can enjoy it without it getting in the way of our gig schedule. Takes us about 35 minutes to get there... which is just SUPER! Long Live ALL DRIVE INS! http://www.scepteronline.com

Last night (Friday) was my first time at the Galaxy and I have just one word: UNBELIEVABLE! Sharp picture... fantastic DTS sound... old fashioned speakers on speaker pole that actually work... only $6 to watch two first run movies... great prices at the snack bar... friendly people working there... even the same 10 minutes intermission trailer that I used to run when I worked as a projectionist at a the Lakeshore Drive-In in Margate, FL back in the 70s! My only critcism would be that the drive-in really need to be paved as it was very muddy almost everywhere. I made a wrong turn walking to the snack bar and ended up three inches deep in a mudhole. Be careful walking around and don't wear your best shoes (not that you should when you go to a drive-in anyway). Better get there early too... it was only 46 degrees out when I went in the middle of winter and all three theaters appeared to be over half full. I can only imagine how busy it will be when during the warmer days of Spring and Summer! Let's everyone get out and support this theater! Go at least once a month and invite along some friends too (the more the merrier)! Hopefully, someone will read this and donate some tar or asphalt for the drive-in; otherwise, let's set up a website (how about pavegalaxydrivein.com) or put in a collection plate in the snack bar to take donations! Go and check out this drive-in... have fun.. enjoy... make it your Galaxy Quest... you WON'T be disappointed. Kudos to everyone involved in making this drive-in a reality too! LONG LIVE THE GALAXY DRIVE-IN!!

Well, I missed opening night but managed to make it to the Jan 1 showing. I've been to many different drive-ins (including Shankweilers in PA, which is the oldest), but this was my first time at a brand new one. I have to say that I'm impressed. The place was packed to near capacity at all three screens. The folks were friendly despite being pretty overwhelmed by the crowd. I don't think they anticipated to have this size of crowd on January 1. The snack bar line was long and stayed that way throughout the night. The picture was razor sharp and the FM sound was the best I've ever heard at a drive-in. It was also interesting to see that a lot of people actually used the speakers. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Congratulations, Galaxy! You're off to a great start. Long live the Drive-In and long live the Galaxy!
